JUNI TAISEN: ZODIAC WAR

The tournament begins and Inonoshishi, daughter of the previous tournament champion, tangles with an unhinged warrior, Usagi.

Dotsuku, a warrior with a powerful bite, has a cunning plan to lay low and wait out the tournament while the others kill each other, but he runs into someone before very long.

Warrior of the Chicken, Niwatori, has the ability that lets her see what the birds see; her philosophy is shaken when she meets the Monkey Warrior, Sharyu, for the first time.

Sharyu travels the world as a negotiator, seeking to bring about ceasefires and peace agreements; when her lone ally, Nezumi, asks her if people are really worth saving, she is reminded of her experiences on the battlefield.

Warrior of the Ram, Hitsujii, has one wish to see his grandchild's face; in this new Taisen, Hitsujii ranks the other warriors by their ability and plots a scheme using the poison Juseki crystal, which he somehow manages not to swallow.

Uuma's encounter with Ushii causes his confidence to crumble; Usagi and Sharyu's fight comes to a deadly end; the field narrows to six combatants.
