A high school girl with aspirations of becoming an idol gets hit by a truck and awakens in a frightening place as a zombie; an eccentric man reveals he brought her and six other girls back from the grave to become the next idol sensation.
Sakura meets the rest of the zombies, who have no interest in coming together as an idol team; Sakura, Ai and Junko sneak out of the mansion and encounter intimidating rappers; Sakura panics when Tae's head falls off in the middle of a performance.
The girls get ready to perform out in the public, but that means Junko and Ai must cooperate with Sakura and the others.
The idols must put on a good show when they visit a hot spring to promote a company Kotaro hopes will become the group's sponsor; the girls decide to spend the day sightseeing and find themselves bonding more closely as a team.
The idols make a commercial for a fast food restaurant; when the girls get muddy during a physical competition, they must avoid washing themselves off to preserve their human disguises, even if it means no one will see their promotional T-shirts.
The zombie idols disagree about the way they present themselves to their fanbase; Junko wonders if she belongs in the group; Ai reveals the way she died and how it affected her motivation to be an idol.
