Desperate to see her leave, Regina uses everything in her power to push Emma out of Storybrooke and Henry's life for good. Secrets surrounding the Evil Queen's curse begin to emerge.

Mr Gold attempts to uncover the true identity of August, Emma confronts Regina about her involvement in Kathryn's disappearance, and David tries to apologise and reconcile with Mary Margaret.

Emma hires Ruby to be her assistant after she quits Granny's dinner, and Red Riding Hood yearns to run away with her true love, but is a virtual prisoner when a bloodthirsty wolf wreaks havoc on her village.

Henry pleads with Emma to stay in Storybrooke and continue her quest as the saviour of the fairytale dwellers.

In Storybrooke, Mr Gold and Mayor Regina play dirty politics on opposite sides when Emma runs for sheriff against Sidney Glass. Meanwhile in the Enchanted Forest, a timid weaver named Rumpelstiltskin is tricked by a malign power as he tries to save his son from being drafted into the ogre war.

With their love for each other growing stronger, David finally agrees to tell Kathryn about his relationship with Mary Margaret and put an end to his loveless marriage.
