Imran Khan

Born in America, Imran Khan has become one of the most popular young Indian actors, working in the so-called Bollywood industry. The film business is nothing new for Khan's family, however, since his uncles are actor/director Aamir Khan and director/producer Mansoor Khan and the younger Khan would appear in their work numerous times as a child. He made a splash, though, as a leading man in his first movie " Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na," a jubilant romantic comedy, where he played a soft-spoken, sensitive young man who meets a lovely though spoiled young woman (Genelia D'Souza). This being a Bollywood movie, of course they fall in love. The role made Khan an instant star and proved successful with both critics and audiences. He next changed things up by starring in the darker "Kidnap," playing a kidnapper, but despite receiving some good reviews for his performance, the film was not received positively. His role in the action thriller "Luck" fared much better, as did his part in the much lighter "I Hate Luv Storys." In the crime caper "Delhi Belly," Khan played a down-and-out journalist who gets involved with some gangsters when his flight attendant girlfriend asks him to deliver a mysterious package to some rather sketchy men. The film was another major hit for Khan.
