When Jim's son becomes attached to a Green Bay Packers football, Jim tries to turn him into an arch rival Chicago Bears fan instead.

Jim tries to convince his friend Danny (Dan Aykroyd) not to back out on his wedding plans with Laraine (Laraine Newman).

Cheryl lies to her cousin Mindy and claims she is the singer of Jim's band. Mindy then invites her to perform at her engagement party, so they have to try to get Cheryl out of the band as soon as possible.

Cheryl wants to have another child, so Jim has to change his diet. However, Jim doesn't really want to do that and doesn't even think about giving up anything. Cheryl tries to persuade him to give in.

When a girlfriend of Cheryl gets an expensive necklace from her husband, Cheryl presses Jim to do the same for her.

When Andy decides to learn how to dance for his sister's wedding, he turns to Jim - a closet dancer - for lessons.
