Betty gets into trouble in her writing class when she submits a Mode story written by a woman who survived a bear attack. Alexis, still suffering from amnesia, starts back at work with no memory of how to act like a girl, and Daniel gets an ultimatum from the magazine's top advertiser - he must fire his sister. Meanwhile, during the hunt to find her father's identity, Amanda learns a deep, dark secret about Wilhelmina's past.
