Sabrina's cousin Shelley is hired to babysit Hope when Jimmy returns to work. Meanwhile, Burt urges Virginia to quit smoking.

When Sabrina learns Jimmy never went on a family vacation, she decides to take Hope on a trip and prove to Burt and Virginia that family vacations aren't necessarily stressful.

Jimmy teaches Hope to crawl and so the family must baby-proof the house. Meanwhile, Virginia is outed as a junk-saving hoarder and Jimmy makes frequent unnecessary trips to the grocery store to see Sabrina.

When Hope is recruited as an actress on Yo Zappa Do, Jimmy signs on as an extra to help her through her scenes. But the show's star, Trevor, is making his life miserable on set.

Virginia takes on a job as a house sitter for a teenage girl, and when she learns that the girl plans to have sex with her boyfriend, she decides to dispense some motherly advice. Burt gets involved.

When Burt and Virginia discover that their storage locker is up for auction, they also realise they have misplaced a personal and incriminating home video that has fallen into the hands of another couple.
