In 1995, Kiryu, Nishiki, Yumi, and Miho are plunged into the underworld of the yakuza. In 2005, tensions among Omi Alliance and Tojo Clan rise over a ten billion yen heist.

In 1995, the Dojima Family closes in on Edgar's younger sister, who was entrusted with the official seal necessary for selling his land. In 2005, Aiko disappears and leaves her daughter, Haruka behind. Kiryu and Yumi decide to protect Haruka.

In 1995, Miho is exhausted due to her new job as a hostess and becomes seriously ill. Due to the exorbitant cost of her surgery, Nishiki finds himself at the mercy of a ploy by the Doujimas to take advantage of her vulnerability.

In 2005, Kazama meets President Goda of the Omi to prevent a war with the Tojo clan. Kiryu and Yumi finally discover Aiko's whereabouts. Kiryu and Nishiki's unresolved conflict from ten years ago resurfaces, driving a new wedge between them.

In 1995, the familial bond between Kiryu, Nishiki, Yumi, and Miho is tragically broken. In 2005, Kiryu and Yumi must return the ten billion yen before midnight to prevent a war between the Tojo clan and the Omi.
