Jens Okking

Jens Okking was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Okking's career in acting began with his roles in various films like the thriller "19 Rode Roser" (1974) with Henning Jensen, "Stroemer" (1976) and the Kim Eduard Jensen drama "Mig og Charly" (1977). He also appeared in "Hoer, Var Der Ikke En, Som Lo?" (1978), "Honning Maane" (1978) and "Slaegten" (1979). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties, appearing in "Forfoljelsen" (1981) with Lil Terselius, "Gummi Tarzan" (1981) with Alex Svanberg and "Rocking Silver" (1983). He also appeared in "Zappa" (1983), the Jarl Friis Mikkelsen comedy "Kampen om den rode ko" (1987) and the Ricki Rasmussen thriller "Guldregn" (1988). Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in "Miraklet i Valby" (1989), the Ernst-Hugo Jaregard dramatic comedy "The Kingdom" (1995) and the dramatic adaptation "Barbara" (1997) with Anneke Von Der Lippe. He also appeared in the Ernst-Hugo Jaregard comedy sequel "The Kingdom II" (1998), "Jolly Roger" (2001) and "One Hand Clapping" (2001). Okking most recently acted in the action film "Old Men In New Cars" (2003) with Kim Bodnia.
