When Jonah Hex's family is killed by a fellow solider in retaliation for earlier acts committed by Jonah, he himself becomes a bounty hunter with warrants on his own head. The US military make full use of this and offer Jonah his freedom if he can stop a terrorist who plans to unleash Hell on Earth.
