A Soviet playwright Alexander Vampilov, whose father was shot in 1938, all his life dreamt of being close to nature, to his roots, so he could not stay in stuffy rooms for a long time, as the walls were closing in and did not allow to breathe deeply. That is why he goes to the Baikal and remains there forever — away from the city bustle and close to the enchanting nature.
