S1, E2: In Unterleuten, the residents' interests collide. While a large part campaigns against the construction of the wind farm, the varying conditions of ownership lead to conflicts among other residents. The situation begins to heat up. Meiler, the investor from southern Germany, tries to gain a competitive advantage. The mayor, Arne Seidel, sees the village's existence threatened if the contract is not awarded to the local "Ökologica," which is the largest employer. However, the company does not have enough hectares in the development area, whereupon the managing director, Rudolf Gombrowski, exerts his influence in the village community. Old enmities boil up, and when a child suddenly disappears, the situation threatens to escalate.
