S1, E2: As the fighting progressed, the face of war also changed. While humanistic values were initially respected, these gradually disappeared. Strategies and tactics became more brutal and revealed the conflicting parties' deadly contempt for their opponents. These didn't even stop at civilians. The so-called "War on the home front" ended up with dropping the atomic bomb on a city.
