The orphan boy Mehmet lives in a remote village in a remote town. Mehmet's parents went to Germany as workers and never returned. Mehmet, who was orphaned at a young age, is looked after by the whole village. He becomes the child of the whole village. In every house he has a room, a plate and a bed.
