This film celebrates the life and accomplishments of President John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1963. Narrated by Gregory Peck, the production focuses on Kennedy's key speeches, as well as important national changes that he was involved in, including the founding of the Peace Corps and the advancement of the civil rights movement. Though the movie was initially intended for government, not public, viewing, it was released theatrically based on its artistic merits.
