Bill Farmer

Bill Farmer always had a knack for doing voices. In college, he found work in radio and TV before he moved on to stand-up comedy. After relocating to Hollywood, he auditioned for the uproarious role of Goofy and started voicing the classic Disney character in 1986. In no time at all he had inherited the parts of happy-go-lucky pup Pluto and equine cutup Horace Horsecollar. Farmer is probaby best known for voicing Goofy in the feature films "A Goofy Movie" (1995) and the sequel "An Extremely Goofy Movie" (2000). Other Disney productions in which Farmer worked his magic as the character include "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" and "Goof Troop." In 1996's "Space Jam," an ambitious mash-up of live-action and animation, Farmer voiced an ensemble of classic toons including Yosemite Sam, Sylvester, and Foghorn Leghorn. In addition to his work for Disney, Farmer has lent his voice to a variety of television shows including the anime-inspired "Astro Boy" and irreverent Adult Swim series "Harvey Birdman, Attorney At Law."
