Kedar Williams-Stirling

Kedar Williams-Stirling was a British actor who became a big star in his native land through various appearances on a number of popular TV shows, but finally broke through across the pond by playing a popular high schooler with an unlikely crush. Born in Manchester, UK, Williams-Stirling began acting when he was only 13 years of age, making his TV debut with a cameo on a 2007 episode of the UK's longest-running police procedural series, "The Bill" (ITV, 1984-2010), followed by cameos on two more beloved programs, "Silent Witness" (BBC, 1996-), and "Doctors" (BBC, 2000-), before finally making his film debut in the action thriller "Shank" (2010). He next became a series regular for the first time, playing Tom Okanawe for two years on the fantasy series "Wolfblood" (CBBC, 2012-17). From there, Williams-Stirling played Lorenzo in the action drama "Montana" (2014), before heading back to TV, taking parts on a remake of Alex Haley's groundbreaking miniseries "Roots" (The History Channel, 2016), the crime drama "Death in Paradise" (BBC One, 2011-), and "Will" (TNT, 2017-), a short lived fictional series based on the early life of William Shakespeare. Williams-Stirling then appeared in the film "Two Graves" (2018), before landing what would become his breakout role: Jackson Marchetti, the most popular kid in school, who is harboring a secret crush on the weird angsty new girl, in the hit Netflix comedic drama series "Sex Education" (Netflix, 2019-). The series premiered to rave reviews and big ratings in January of 2019; the next month, it was renewed for a second season. Meanwhile, Williams-Stirling could be seen alongside Seth Green, Breckin Meyer, and Macaulay Culkin in "Changeland" (2019), an indie drama about an unfortunate trip to Thailand, which Green also wrote and directed.
