Nick Vincent Murphy is an Irish screenwriter and novelist. He is best known for his work on the TV comedy series Moone Boy, the Moone Boy novels, the animated series Dorg Van Dango, and the feature film Hideaways.

Soon after a UFO sighting, Martin’s donkey mysteriously disappears, so he logically assumes it’s been abducted by aliens. The media eagerly report his tall tale, which doesn’t go down well with the Town Council who are trying to promote a gentler image of Boyle. As Martin and Padraic try to make contact with the aliens, the Council try to strong-arm Liam into suppressing Martin’s story.
