Wally Wingert

Wally Wingert is a voice actor with a long list of projects to his name. He began his career in voice work in 1990 adding his voice to the video game "The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition." By the late '90s he was working steadily and could be heard on shows like "Power Rangers in Space," "Power Rangers Lost Galaxy," "King of the Hill," and "The Angry Beavers." He's gone on to voice scads of characters in more than 100 projects that include film, TV, and video games. Among his most notable projects are "The Ant Bully," "Family Guy," "Bleach," "Naruto," "Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law," and "Transformers: Robots in Disguise." In 2009, Wingert took his voice to late night as the announcer Jay Leno's controversial new show, "The Jay Leno Show," which aired at 10 o'clock, changing the standard definition of late night television. When NBC's new lineup resulted in plummeting ratings and ad sales, NBC executives reinstated Leno on "The Tonight Show," and Wingert followed, becoming the announcer for "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" in 2010.
