Fireman Sam

Today the Pontypandy Fire station is open to the public where everyone can see what a fireman/ firewoman do when they are not out at an emergency. Station Officer Steele is the master of ceremonies and he announces to everyone what will be going on around the fire station.

Sam, Elvis and Penny are called to an emergency on the cliff! They arrive in no time following all the correct procedures. The training exercise has been a success. They are practicing for Mike’s big rocket launch that is happening that afternoon. Mike is showing off his amazing rocket to the children.

The Pontypandy residents are having a beach picnic and Penny, Sam, Elvis and Station Officer Steele draw straws to see who will go and who will stay behind. Elvis gets the short straw and remains at the fire station with Radar. He uses the opportunity to try to record one of his songs but no matter how far away Elvis goes, Radar always hears him and starts howling as he begins to sing! Meanwhile on the beach Sarah and James are turning Steele into a sand mermaid, Sam is helping Mrs Chen and Lily is following Norman around and getting in the way of his sandcastle building. Norman eventually manages to shake off Lily, but unbeknownst to Norman, the toddler has followed him and gets herself stranded on a sandbank. Luckily, clever Radar retrieves the emergency message while Elvis is busy trying to record his new song and the sea rescue gets under way. At the beach, everyone calls out for Lily but it’s Radar that hears her cries and leads the team straight to Lily. Sam pulls Lily from the waves much to Mrs Chens’ relief. So it’s back to the picnic where Radar sniffs out some lovely sausages and Norman finds he has more of a soft spot for Lily than he realised.

There is a grand opening for the new boat house but Mike sets fireworks off by accident.

Mandy wants to be the fastest delivery person ever! But when her brakes fall off, it's up to Fireman Sam to rescue her before she gets to the cliffs!

The quay is abuzz with activity as contestants prepare for the Pontypandy Pet Show, hosted by Tom Thomas and judged by Station Officer Steele. Competing will be Mandy and Nipper the dog, Sarah and Lion the cat, Norman and Woolly the sheep, and James and Norris the guinea-pig.
