Ghosts

Emma and Felix are struggling to find an affordable apartment but are overjoyed when Emma unexpectedly inherits an old mansion. What they don't realize is that they are not the only inhabitants of the house and they must now share their home with a community of ghosts. When the young couple moves in, the ghosts are faced with a shock: Emma and Felix want to turn their home into a hotel.

Thanks to unreliable construction workers, the renovation work is not going as hoped and money is slowly running out. While Felix tries to continue the manual work by himself, with varying degrees of success, Emma is still struggling after her accident. While everyone else remains unaffected by the ghosts' attempts at haunting, she realizes that the ghosts are real.

While renovating Donnerhall House, Felix happens to find a very old revolver bullet, which shocks Friedrich, as it is revealed that this is the bullet that was used to shoot him. Friedrich recounts the whole story to Emma, but during her journey into the past, Emma realizes that memory and reality do not always correspond.

Thanks to Emma, the ghosts are enjoying some variety through a new leisure program, while Felix and Emma try to find new sources of income. Donnerhall House is still a construction site, and when one of the construction workers suddenly disappears and their home becomes the supposed scene of the crime, chaos ensues.

In an attempt to try and earn more money, a wedding is being held on the Donnerhall estate. Emma and Felix desperately need the money, so they do everything they can to support the wedding planner. When one of the brides gets cold feet, Emma and Felix's relationship also hits a rough patch.

Emma and Felix have finally reached their breaking point. The financial pressure and renovation work are taking their toll, and living with the ghosts is putting their relationship to the test. Salvation seems to be at hand, however, as a hotel chain wants to buy the entire property from them for a large amount of money. The ghosts desperately search for a way to prevent the sale.
