Following the death of his girlfriend, Metin attempts to get his life back on track. However, on his birthday, everything seems to be going wrong.

Metin applies for a daycare spot for Lene. But an argument with his mother, a Nazi neighbour, two kids and a case of food poisoning get in his way.

We look back at Emma’s funeral and at Emma and Metin’s relationship before her death, as she struggled with her new role as a mother.

As Lene gets used to her new daycare, Metin gets to know Old Hippie Harry. The two of them discover that they have something in common.

After paternity leave, Metin returns to his old job as a writer for a soap opera. However, this new start is not without complications.

Emma and Metin return from their first holiday with their child. Metin is a wreck, having drunk too much the day before.
