In Carrara, Italy, the family-owned marble quarry is Paolo Carlis' purpose in life. His father and grandfather already quarried marble in these three quarries.

Luca has to put in an extra shift at the Catino quarry, even though the day was already gruelling. The marble from the quarry is needed to help build a luxurious skyscraper in Hong Kong.

The three quarries, three bosses and three big orders are on the agenda. The stonecutters have their hands full to ensure the continued existence of their company.

The men are in the final stages of their project, into which they have poured their heart and soul. Accordingly, they are under enormous pressure to ensure that nothing more can go wrong. Mario, however, is not up to the pressure.
