The Treflik family is bored and cannot do anything because of the heavy rain. Little Uncle appears in the children's room and encourages them to play creatively.

Treflinka gets offended when a friend hits her with a ball. Little Uncle encourages Treflinka to give her friend a second chance. Meanwhile, the Treflik family plants a tree in the garden.

Grandma is making delicious pancakes, but Treflik does not want to eat them. To entice him, grandma tells him a story about a king and a queen.

Treflik is celebrating his fifth birthday when his aunt arrives and steals his birthday cake. Little Uncle helps him get his cake back while teaching him a lesson about greed.

Treflinka is very sick, so Treflik and Little Uncle go on an adventure to find the Water of Life in the hope that it may cure her.
