Little Foot is tired of being left out while Lina, Raphael, and Beanpole are having fun. The grown-ups always say he's too young and can't even understand their jokes. Little Foot has had enough and wants to prove he's not little anymore.

When Big Perch refuses to deliver a pot of honey for his mother, Littlefoot is eager to fulfil the mission. Halfway through his journey, Littlefoot hears his group of friends playing by the stream. He then hides the pot of honey under a tree.

As the four friends plan to eat cherries at Mr. Nonc's, Raphael accidentally drops his lucky pyrite into the stream. Shortly after, his bike tyre bursts and he is attacked by red ants.

Surrounded by fields and near a vast forest and a lovely stream is the village of Bellefontaine. Here lives a small group of boys and girls, including our heroes: Raphaël, Lina, Little Foot and Beanpole.

After school, both gangs grumble about their excessive homework and complain to the teacher. Lina attempts to defend her father whilst reassuring her friends that the assignments are not overly difficult.

Lina finds it impossible to read quietly. Her friends constantly seek her assistance, whether it is to help them complete a challenging maths exercise or revise a poem. She has grown weary of this.
