Broken Bird

S2 E4: The US Secretary of Defence Richard Gascoigne (Rob MacPherson) arrives in the capital for an unscheduled visit from Washington to shore up the Alliance with a blindsided Prime Minister (Don Hany). Garrity seeks a private meeting with the drone pilot, Cal Treloar (Laura Gordon), to ascertain whether the missing drone was hacked in retribution to kill an innocent Australian family in Davoren Park. When the manufacturer of the military hardware, Trebuchet, discovers the location of the crashed drone in remote bush land they realise the data brick is missing. Cal makes contact with an off-the-grid computer expert calling himself John Smith - a man who Harriet (Anna Torv) soon finds dead in his remote bush shack.
