S1, E4: To continue her journey to the Nile’s source, Joanna must travel from Ethiopia, to re-join the White Nile in southern Sudan. Flying high above southern Sudan, Joanna finally sees The Sudd, a notorious mosquito infested swamp roughly the size of Belgium that for over two thousand years blocked the path of explorers travelling south to find the source of the Nile.
