The year is 50 B.C. and all of Gaul has been conquered by the Romans. All? No! One tiny village continues to resist the Roman occupation with the help of a magic potion which turns its inhabitants into invincible warriors. When their arch-enemy Julius Caesar visits the remote province to investigate why taxes are not being paid, the Druid Getafix is abducted in an attempt to discover the secrets of his magic potion.
