Bikes and Broken Bones is a multi-award winning documentary that captures the essence of adventure sports: the rush, the exhilaration, the drama, the great outdoors and the fun. Three years in the making, Bikes and Broken Bones is a journey into the heart and soul of Freestyle Motocross (FMX) in Australia and the generation of daredevils who literally push their bodies and bikes to breaking point. Directed by first-time filmmaker Ben Heidrich, and shot and narrated by the riders (five central characters), the film documents their uninhibited and extremely entertaining adventures.
