On Thin Ice

Ice, driftwood, foamy waves and … skateboards? ON THIN ICE is a feature length documentary based around award-winning short NORTHBOUND (which garnered acclaim from the likes of TRIBECA, HOTDOCS & MOUNTAINFILM amongst others) about a group of skaters who brave a cold Norweigan winter to build the world's first skateable frozen sand mini ramp.  Watch as they build features out of sand and water, leaving them to freeze overnight and skate the next day. The whole project is at the mercy of mother nature, with blistering conditions, arctic temperatures and nearby ocean swells threatening to wash the whole project away.
