While Tommy helps in re-opening of a local theatre, which doesn't go as planned, Rose takes up a job at the store and Eileen confesses her illicit doings to Mary-Kate.

In the wake of a business deal going sour, Michael realises how much he still cares for his old girlfriend, Kath; Eileen finds a friend who offers to help her with her issues; Tommy tries to climb up the political hierarchy.

Tommy makes a bid for the Speaker's chair; Eileen puts her foot down with regards to Dana. Ranking top on Freddie's hit-list, Michael makes appropriate arrangements; A displeased Declan, is approached by Freddie, seeking protection.

Declan begins his investigation into statehouse corruption, but the attention is drawn away from his efforts when Federal Attorney Franklin disappears.
