Andy and Traci respond to a break-in at an upscale address. When the crisis appears to be over, Traci hurries away to handle a personal emergency, leaving Andy in the lurch when she is later confronted by an armed suspect.

The Justice League heads to the Arctic to look for Clark after the collapse of the fortress; a group holds Chloe prisoner, after discovering she has a new power; Jor-El strips Clark of his powers.

Lex is told he is destined to defeat the Traveler and is taken to the Fortress to learn how; Chloe is arrested; Lana awakens from her comatose state; Clark and Lex face off in the Fortress.

Despite the threat that Doomsday poses, Clark cannot bring himself to kill Davis, forcing Oliver and his team to take matters into their own hands. Chloe is caught in the conflict between Oliver and Clark, while Lois takes on Tess.

After Lex is attacked by a mysterious stranger, he and Clark both discover the last surviving member of the Veritas group who holds the secret to controlling the Traveller.

Clark desperately searches for Brainiac, the only one who can reverse Lana's condition; Chloe, in her search for large power surges, breaks into several government computers; Jimmy gets caught between Lex and the Department of Security.
