Ashleigh Brewer

Born in Brisbane, Australia, actor Ashleigh Brewer began attracting attention for her performing skills while she was still in primary school. It was then that her school drama teacher recommended to Brewer's mother that she sign her talented daughter up for extracurricular acting classes. Brewer's mother was unsure, but eventually gave the teacher permission to enroll her. Brewer soon found an agent, and began appearing on the Australian TV series "Sleepover Club" (Nine Network, 2003). Brewer next booked a recurring role on the series "H20: Just Add Water" (Network Ten, 2006-2010). After taking a few years off to finish her high school education at Forest Lake College, Brewer moved to Melbourne to pursue an acting career. She shared a flat with actor Margot Robbie, with whom she would later act on screen. Three weeks after relocating, Brewer was cast on the smash hit soap opera "Neighbours" (Seven Network, 1985-), along with her flatmate. She would remain on the show for five years before making the difficult decision to leave the show and relocate to the United States in the hopes of making it on American TV. Soon after arriving, she landed the role of Ivy Forrester on the soap "The Bold and the Beautiful" (CBS, 1985-).
