Marcus and Father Tomas visit the foster home and attempt to lure the demon out of hiding. Rose becomes the demon's target, while Bennett and Mouse try to locate an old adversary.

Father Bennet and Mouse travel west to meet up with Marcus and Tomas. With little time to finish the exorcism, one of the foster kids makes a difficult decision.

When the demon makes its presence known, the two priests must trace some evidence of possession before it's too late. Andy and Rose bring the children on an overnight camping adventure. Disconcerting information about the conspiracy emerges.

As Andy fights for his life, the exorcists make the ultimate sacrifice to save him. Tomas and Marcus set out from Chicago in search of further evil, and the Vatican hunts for apostates.

Marcus attempts to rouse Tomas from his trance-like state, with no success, and sets out in search of the possessed Andy, Rose, and the foster-children.

The foster home's fate hangs in the balance as the exorcism begins. Marcus and Tomas face an adversary unlike any they've faced before. They journey into the mouth of madness to save their family.
