The BAU is called to a North Carolina resort town after a woman is found badly injured and another woman is missing. On arrival, the team discovers these two women are not the only victims.

The son of a once wealthy family is found dead in Central Park. As Castle and Beckett are working on the investigation, his friends are trying to stop them.

A man with a long history of theft and sexual offences is found murdered and tied to his bed with visible signs of having been sexually assaulted himself. However, there are no signs that the house was broken into.

Dr Carter is excited to get a new student. Benton and Carla decide on a name for their son. Dr Greene interviews candidates for the new desk clerk position.

Cynthia Hooper starts work as the desk clerk. Dr Greene and Dr Carter are surprised by a young stroke victim. Weaver looks for places where she can make budget cuts.

Anspaugh makes Dr Greene an offer after his success with prospective interns; Dr Ross treats a boy who thinks he's Superman.
