Spence poses as Carrie's husband at a work event after a client doesn't appear to like Doug. Arthur becomes upset when he isn't the centre of attention.

When Doug and Carrie start working out with their neighbour so that Carrie can lose some weight, Doug figures out a deal that lets him laze around during exercise time.

Deacon and Kelly send Doug and Carrie an oil painting with their likenesses on it. The pair dislike the painting so much that they decide to fake a robbery to avoid having to hang it in their home.
