A woman with amnesia hires the Doyles to find out who she really is; Jake doesn't have to look far before her past shows up to find her in the form of two separate men who claim to be related to her. Unfortunately, neither of them is telling the truth about their connection to her.

Janet Chafe is grieving her husband's suicide; the shock of that is bad enough, but things only get worse for her when she discovers that he left $100,000 to another woman in his will. Mrs Chafe hires the Doyles to find the woman and find out why her husband made the bequest.
