Craig Griffin
Colorado bluesman Craig Griffin did not even start listening to the blues until he was in his mid-twenties. He had played the guitar briefly as a child, but it was only when he heard "Rock Me, Baby" by Lightnin' Hopkins that he decided to take the plunge into learning the guitar. He immersed himself in the blues, playing gigs and coffeehouses to gain experience. He often teamed with another player, Gary Lobdell, in live situations. He recorded his first CD in 2001, at the tender age of 39, filled with classic blues songs as well as older obscurities. ~ Bradley Torreano, Rovi
