A resentful JD feels that he's been ditched by Turk in favour of Turk's new girlfriend, Carla. In addition, JD is even more distracted by his tempting flirtations with Elliot.

JD considers whether to reveal the truth about the paternity of Dr Cox's child. Meeting Dr Fisher gives JD insight into Dr Cox's mind, while Turk and Dr Kelso debate stress relief practices.

JD flirts with a married woman whose husband has been in a coma for two years then asks her out. The hospital staff refer to the young woman as Tasty Coma Wife and Elliot begins to feel insecure about her relationship.

The other interns find out about Elliot and Keith's relationship. Dr Cox tries to treat a difficult patient.
