An employee of Morley Tobacco Co is apparently killed by tobacco beetles. Mulder suspects that the beetles hatched inside his lungs and found their way there through the inhalation of smoke from an experimental cigarette.

Sipowicz gets a call from the FBI that a bomb may have been forwarded in the mail to the Family Court building. The detectives go to the scene and start an evacuation of the building.
