The gang are excited about a new screening of Indiana Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark, because there are 21 seconds of additional footage being seen for the first time, and camp out to get tickets for the film.
After a great first date, Deke takes Max back to his place, but it isn't quite what she was expecting. Caroline feels empowered by her decision to have a shady car towed, but then fears for her life.
As he and Max grow closer while studying together, Caroline begins to find Deke's constant presence irritating. Caroline, in the meantime, enjoys her flirtation with Chef Nicholas.
Max is determined to make a good impression on her first day of pastry school, but soon finds herself distracted by Deke, the class clown. Meanwhile, Caroline's new job in the school office is far from interesting.
Max realises that her feelings for Deke may be more than simply platonic and Caroline is still into Chef Nicholas, despite the fact that he is married.
