Although Addie has a crush on Randy Klein, she avoids him because she doesn't know how he feels about her. To make matters worse, Aunt Bertha informs her that kissing with braces can be lethal.

Geena and Zach feel left out when Addie spends time with her boyfriend. Addie must find a way to balance her boyfriend and her friends or else they will start pushing her away.

Jealousy gets a hold of Addie when she learns that the Rocky Road Middle School girls have given Randy the new nickname `Eye Candy Randy Klein'. Addie sets out to track down and personally stop any girl who likes Randy.

It's charity week at Rocky Road Middle School and Addie and Geena are determined to beat Maris and Cranberry by raising the most money for Heifer house. Thinking outside the fundraising box, they rent a cow for the week.

Addie hopes to take Jake to the school dance by winning a date with him in a charity bachelor auction. Her dream of having the perfect dance with him is about to come true, but then the gym gets flooded and the first dance of 8th grade is cancelled.
