The team searches for social worker Eric, who disappeared after forcibly removing a seven-year-old girl from the home of her violent father and desperate mother. As the team investigates the possibility that the girl's father retaliated against Eric, they also look at the families of the 19 other children with whom Eric has similar dealings.
