Four new couples from around Australia are about to embark upon the greatest challenge of their lives.

It is day 35 and although our couples have finished their first two rooms, life at The Block isn't getting any more comfortable or easier.

The couples are searching for the best tradesmen at the right prices. All except the Melbourne couple, that is, who think they have an ace up their sleeve.

Living amongst the filth and the rubble is becoming unbearable as the contestants struggle to maintain their presentation at work. The couples are working out who they do and don't want to be friends with. And amusement turns to horror when a newspaper asks for the public to come forward with information about our contestants' lives outside The Block.

After 101 days of renovating for four couples it all comes down to this. For Jason & Kirsten, Jamie & Andrew, Jane & Matt, and Richard & Steven tonight's the night we find out who will take home the grand prize of $100,000.

The couples are 39 days down and the game is taking its toll. They are doing battle with their tradesmen, they are fighting against time, and they have come face to face with their greatest enemy yet… the budget.
