Jim Stafford

Jim Stafford worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Variety" (1973-74), "Opryland USA -- 1975" (ABC, 1974-75) and "Celebration: The American Spirit" (ABC, 1975-76). He also took on a few movie roles at the time, appearing in the Clint Eastwood comedy adventure "Any Which Way You Can" (1980). Stafford also contributed music to the Squeaks animated adventure "The Fox and the Hound" (1981). In the eighties, Stafford devoted his time to various credits, such as "Great Moments in Country Music" "The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour" (CBS, 1987-89) and "The Smothers Brothers Comedy Special" (CBS, 1988-89). He also worked on "The Smothers Brothers Thanksgiving Special" (CBS, 1988-89). Stafford's music was most recently featured in the comedy "All About Steve" (2009) with Sandra Bullock. In the nineties through the early 2000s, Stafford lent his talents to projects like "Sea World Star-Spangled Summer" (ABC, 1990-91), "The True Value/GMC Truck Country Showdown" and "The Animal" (2001) starring Rob Schneider. His credits also expanded to "Rugrats Go Wild" (2003).
