Joe Lara

Joe Lara was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He also starred in the TV movies "Tarzan in Manhattan" (1988-89), "Gunsmoke: The Last Apache" (CBS, 1989-1990) and "Sunset Heat" (HBO, 1991-92). He also appeared in "Danger Island" (NBC, 1992-93). Lara launched his entertainment career by acting in films like "American Cyborg: Steel Warrior" (1994). He also appeared in the TV special "Investigating Tarzan" (AMC, 1996-97). In the nineties, he worked on the silver screen, taking roles in "Hologram Man" (1995), "Live Wire: Human Time Bomb" (1995) and "Steel Frontier" (1995). He also appeared in "Warhead" (1995). He also appeared in "The Final Equinox" (1996). He also was featured in the TV movies "Operation Delta Force" (1996-97), "Tarzan's Return" (1996-97) and "Armstrong" (HBO, 1998-99). Lara most recently acted in "Starfire Mutiny" (2005). Joe Lara died on May 29, 2021 in Nashville, TN at the age of 58.
