Joe Sugg

Born in Wiltshire, England, young Joe Sugg dreamed of being a roof thatcher and spent some time learning the trade. But, after witnessing the success his sister, Zoe, had when she launched her Zoella blog, Sugg created his youtube channel, ThatcherJoe in 2011. A vehicle for Sugg to take on dares, perform short skits, and (his most popular) impressions, ThatcherJoe and the companion sites ThatcherJoeVlogs and ThatcherJoeGames, have gathered over 7 million subscribers. He frequently collaborated on his vlogs with other YouTubers, including his sister and Caspar Lee and was featured in the Band Aid 30 supergroup on the 2014 single "Do They Know It's Christmas," commemorating the 30th anniversary of the original song. Sugg also lent his voice to the role of Kyle the Seagull in "The Spongebob Movie: Sponge out of Water" (2015). In 2015 Sugg published the graphic novel "Username: Evie," which tells the story of a marginalized girl who is pulled into a computer program that her deceased father had written for her. In 2016, he was set to publish the sequel, "Username: Regenerated."
