John Boles
John Boles was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Boles began his acting career with roles in such films as "The Love of Sunya" (1927), "The Last Warning" (1929) and "The Desert Song" (1929). He also appeared in "Rio Rita" (1929), "King of Jazz" (1930) and "Resurrection" (1931). He kept working in film throughout the thirties, starring in "Back Street" (1932), "Child of Manhattan" (1933) and "Only Yesterday" (1933). He also appeared in "My Lips Betray" (1933). Nearing the end of his career, he tackled roles in "The Age of Innocence" (1934), "The Life of Vergie Winters" (1934) and "Curly Top" (1935). He also appeared in "The Littlest Rebel" (1935) and "Craig's Wife" (1936). Boles was most recently credited in "Idols" (Fox, 1991-92). Boles passed away in February 1969 at the age of 74.
