Earl takes Joy's side in an argument between her and Darnell, and ends up involved in Joy's scheme to purchase an entertainment centre.

Earl goes to dig up some buried historic silverware he stole from the town library with Joy and Randy, but it's not there. Randy recounts the story of where he moved it, while Joy discusses her attempt to melt the silverware.

Earl wishes to use his birthday party to remember all of the good he accomplished over the past year, but everyone else seems to want to focus on his past misdeeds.

Earl and Randy are watching TV in prison when they see that Cops is filming in Camden County. Kenny features in the episode, and shows resentment towards Earl.
