Karen Steele

Actress Karen Steele was widely known for her presence on the silver screen. Steele began her acting career with roles in such films as the Red Skelton drama "The Clown" (1953), the Ernest Borgnine dramatic adaptation "Marty" (1955) and "Toward the Unknown" (1956). She also appeared in the Randolph Scott western "Decision at Sundown" (1957). Her passion for acting continued to her roles in projects like "Ride Lonesome" (1959), the action flick "Westbound" (1959) with Randolph Scott and "The Rise and Fall of Legs Diamond" (1960). She also appeared in the dramedy "40 Pounds of Trouble" (1963) with Tony Curtis. She also was featured in the TV movie "Death of a Salesman" (CBS, 1965-66). She held additional roles in television including a part on "Star Trek" (NBC, 1966-69). Steele more recently acted in "The Trap on Cougar Mountain" (1972).
